From corporate boardrooms to classrooms filled with unfiltered smiles, our Founder Trustee Sundar Iyer has redefined what it means to create impact. Once a finance professional in Mumbai, he discovered his true calling while volunteering weekends at a special needs school.
What began in 2010 with three rented shops and six children in Nallasopara has today grown into Suryoday School, a purpose-built centre educating 105 students, alongside a Vocational Training Centre in Bhayandar supporting 25+ young adults.
Suryoday goes beyond academics—fostering life skills, confidence, and employability for children with special needs. Sundar Iyer’s vision has transformed not just an institution, but the futures of 130+ children and families.
